I'll keep this short. Ali at Olive Auto Center is:1. Friendly2. Honest3. Fast4. Inexpensive5. Great at what he doesAli fixed my brakes in no time, noticed a leaky transmission hose (that I wouldn't have found until it was too late) and recommended I try to get the dealership to replace it for free. When they wouldn't, he replaced it at a very good price. What mechanic tries to get you the best deal, even if it means taking your car somewhere else?! Amazing. I look forward to returning to Ali the next time my CRV needs a tune up, and thanks to all the Yelpers whose positive reviews led me to Olive Auto Center in the first place.

This mechanic and his workmen are so neat you could eat off the floor of his place, this reflects the work that he does in his shop. He sent back the wrong part to the dealer twice before he got the exact correct part and installed it on my Mercedes.Great work! Thanksbarevan

I'm so over due for a review on Ali's service over at Olive Auto Center. I would like to thank the yelp gods (users) for their honest reviews. I had been having a problem with my car for so long. To make a long drawn out story short. I had taken it to two different mechanics, and Toyota of NOHO to have this issue taken care of. The first mechanic couldn't figure the problem out for days. When they did, they fixed it(so they said). I spent almost $300 that was for the part and labor. My car ran fine for a few weeks, and then the problem started to happen again. I took it to a different mechanic. He to fixed it, and I paid a little over $100. My car kept having the same issue after wards. Took it to Toyota only for them to say that they needed to keep it all day to find out what was wrong. Even after I told them. I didn't want to deal with them and their horrible service and prices. I was so fed up with the car and mechanics. I came over to yelp, and saw the reviews for Ali and the gang. I was so stoked about Olive Auto Center. I took my car over the next morning and explained to Ali what was going on. His guy did a diagnostic on it, and found the root of the problem. Guess what y'all! I haven't had any more problems out of my car. Ali only charged me for the diagnostic test which was $85.00 yes I said $85.00. I will continue to take my car here and tell all of my friends. Speaking of taking my car in, I have to get my brakes replaced. I'll be seeing Ali and crew on Monday. Thank You JESUS!!! (and my fellow yelpers)

I've been going here for years. The owner Ali is as nice and honest as they come. After years of frustration and disappointment with the service of other car repair shops, I discovered this place and have never felt cheated or let down. Sometimes if the job is small he doesn't even charge me! Once he gave me a ride to work. For 8 years I have been a satisfied customer. Honesty is Ali's way of bringing you back. Notice how many people gave this place 5 stars? How many mechanics can earn that kind of respect? The best thing about him is you can pop in unexpected and get the job done quickly, even if he is busy, he will find a way to fit you in.

Living near Eagle Rock and Highland Park, I'm in the middle of car-repair Disneyland. There are so many choices, some of them almost across the street. As I was searching online for service centers I read about Olive Auto Center in Burbank (about 8 miles from home) and decided to give it a try.Believe me, I'll be back. Ali was ready with a smile and a professional attitude. I told him that I needed a brake job, an oil change, and perhaps my cooling system flushed. I told him that I would trust him to tell me anything else that needed attention.He did the brake job, calling me twice to let me make choices about the repair. He said, even though my car has 80,000 miles, he checked the cooling system and it looks good. He said that I needed new windshield wipers, but that to sell them to me right now would mean them baking in the summer sun until they are needed in the fall. He said that I should get them next time instead.I am will definitely go back.Thank you, Ali.

I found Olive Auto Center after reading all the great reviews on Yelp. I just want to say all the awesome reviews are true. Ali is fantastic and a joy to deal with. If you are looking for an honest and fair mechanic this is the place. He treats his customers with respect and does not try and sell you services you don't need. Thanks again Ali!
